Heritage City Mural

The Heritage City Mural is the largest mural in Taiping, stretching the length of the wall of a flyover along Jalan Assam Kumbang, very close to the Antong Coffee Mill.

The mural shows 10 of Taiping’s oldest and most historical landmarks:

• The Clock Tower
• All Saints Church
• The Old Malay Mosque
• The Land & District Office
• The Perak Museum
• King Edward VII Primary School
• Ngah Ibrahim’s Fort
• The Maxwell Hill Bungalows
• Taiping Railway Station
• Port Weld Railway Station

This mural was completed in 2017, and was painted by the students of the Interior Design Studio, Universiti Perguruan Sultan Idris, Malaysia’s oldest teacher-training college.
