The Tsen Loong Bazaar is a marketplace that can house up to 50 shops. It is a very old building. The Bazaar is divided into rows of small shop lots, and still has that very distinct old market feel to it. There are many traders here, mostly artisans and craftsmen specialising in tailoring and clothing, floral arrangements, and more. It is a popular destination for mending and alteration of clothes, tailoring custom and traditional outfits, and small flower arrangements and bouquets.
The Tsen Loong Bazaar has 2 main fronts and a side entrance. One storefront faces Jalan Taming Sari, while the other faces Jalan Pasar. The small road to the side of the Tsen Loong Bazaar connecting Jalan Pasar and Jalan Taming Sari was cordoned off from vehicle entry sometime in the early 1990s and is now a pedestrian-only walkway. There is another entrance to the Bazaar along this corridor.
On March 7, 2022, The Bazaar was ravaged by a fire, destroying several shops on the front row facing Jalan Taming Sari. This storefront area has been cordoned off for public safety pending repairs and restoration works. The flower sellers have moved their shops to the alleyway to the side of the Tsen Loong Bazar, and are operating normally, albeit on a smaller scale.
