Lake View Heritage Foodcourt & Spotlight Raintown Foodtruck

The Lake View Heritage Foodcourt & Spotlight Raintown Foodtruck is a large alfresco dining area located along Jalan Samanea Saman, adjacent to the Taiping Lake Gardens Raintree Walk. There are 2 groups of food kiosks here: one group has permanent kitchens in the food court building; the other group is a collection of food truck operators. There is a very wide choice of food and drinks available here, and it is a very popular spot for late-night dining.

Among the food and drink choices available here are Arab food, satay, kuey teow (flat rice noodles) meats on sticks, yong tau foo hot (stuffed soya bean curd) plate noodles, coffee, and various smoothies.

Of particular note is a piece of graffiti that is used as signage for the food stalls here, which is one of the better pieces of street art in Taiping.

The sellers operating here all vouch for their food and drinks as halal.

Sellers here begin serving food at 5.30 pm and stay open till midnight.
