Mokti's Ice Cream Gula Apong Taiping

Mokti’s Ice Cream Gula Apong Taiping is an ice-creamery based in Jalan Panggung Wayang, Taiping. The store is part of the Mokti’s chain of ice-creameries with over 50 outlets across Malaysia.

Mokti’s ice cream is unique as it utilizes apong sugar, made from the sap of the nipah tree, a variety of palm that grows around mangrove forests.

There are two main varieties of ice cream sold at the store: soft-serves and popsicles. Mokti’s also has several specially blended lattes available.

The store is run and operated by Muslims, but is yet to be certified halal by JAKIM.
