Port Otai

Port Otai is a restaurant with an el-fresco dining area located along Jalan Panggung Wayang, close to the CIMB Taiping branch.

The restaurant is famous for it’s Char Kuey Teow Legend signature dish, and serves a variety of other foods:

• Kuey Teow Udang (Fried Flat Rice Noodles with Prawns)
• Nasi Gorend Udang (Prawn Fried Rice)
• Nasi Goreng Ayam (Chicken Fried Rice)
• Nasi Ayam Syahdu (Syahdu Chicken Rice)
• Bihun Sup Ayam Pencen (Rice Vermicelli in Spent Hen Soup)
• Nasi Ayam Hainan (Hainanese Chicken Rice)

A popular drink served here is their Coconut Shake, prepared from fresh young coconuts. Other drinks served are hot and cold varieties of teas, and coffee.

Port Otai is open from 5pm onwards (usually after Asar prayers) and closes around midnight. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
