Shell Out Taiping Cafe is located at the intersection of Jalan Kota and Jalan Esplanade, adjacent to the library. The McDonald’s near the Lake Gardens is directly across the road.

Taiping Shell Out Steamboat at the intersection of Jalan Taming Sari and Jalan Ong Saik is a Restoran Shell Out Taiping Cafe outlet. The restaurant specialises in steamboat (i.e. hot pot) seafood dishes. It is a family restaurant business, run by mother and son. This outlet is managed and operated by the mother. This outlet is open till late, and is a popular spot for dinner. There is a large indoor and canopied outdoor dining area available.

Steamboat meals and their signature “Shell Out” meals for groups are the most popular dish here, with meals for groups ranging from 2 to 5 people. The Shell Out set consists of a mix of seafood, corn, vegetables, salad, ikan siakap 3 rasa (sweet, sour & spicy sea bass) with white rice.
