Tigers Corner, also popularly known as KE Corner is a food court located along Jalan Stesen, just beside the King Edward VII School. This eatery is owned and operated by former students of the school. The food court is situated in the compound of a building formerly part of the King Edward VII School. (This building is now in disuse). There is a dining area covered by a canopy, as well as an uncovered dining area, for a full alfresco dining experience. Tigers Corner is open till late and is a popular spot for dinner.
Tigers Corner is primarily a food court, therefore there are a few stalls besides the main operator’s kitchen, with each stall offering different menus.
The food served by the main kitchen here is a mix of local Malay cuisine and western food.
Malay food: Nasi goreng kampung (Kampung fried rice), nasi goreng ikan rebus (fried rice with boiled fish), nasi goreng ayam (fried rice with chicken), nasi goreng daging merah (fried rice with meat in red sauce), nasi goreng USA (USA fried rice), nasi goreng paprik (Thai pad prik and fried rice), nasi goreng ikan masin (fried rice with salted fish), fried kuey teow (flat noodles), mee goreng (fried noodles), and scrambled or sunny side up eggs.
Western food: Nasi goreng chicken chop (fried rice with chicken steak), chicken chop with oriental, black pepper, or mushroom gravy, lamb chop, fish & chips, nuggets, sausages, french fries, and garlic bread with mushroom soup.
